Written by Blisie — including where Vagaro wins

Blisie vs Vagaro: one price, or a base plus add-ons?

Vagaro is a broad, long-established platform with a wide catalogue of add-ons and a large US footprint. Blisie is narrower on purpose: one flat price per store that includes what a service business uses daily, priced and supported for the Indian market.

Choose Vagaro if
  • You are in the US and want the surrounding ecosystem — hardware, payroll and payment processing from the same vendor.
  • You want a large add-on catalogue and are comfortable assembling and paying for the pieces you need.
  • You want to appear in their consumer marketplace.
Choose Blisie if
  • You want to know your monthly cost from one number rather than a base plan plus a stack of add-ons.
  • You are billing in rupees and want pricing, support and working hours aligned to that.
  • You want a booking site on your own subdomain rather than a marketplace profile.
  • You would rather have a smaller product your whole team understands than a larger one most of which goes unused.

How the two actually differ.

We describe Vagaro in general terms and do not quote their prices or feature flags — those change, and we would rather you checked their own site than trusted a rival’s summary. Everything in the Blisie column is exact.

Does Blisie have everything Vagaro has?

No, and that is intentional. Blisie covers billing, appointments, services and orders, customers, staff, reports and an online booking site. It does not do payroll, inventory or accounting, and there is no native mobile app. If you depend on those, Vagaro or a similar broad platform is the better fit.

Which is better value for a small salon in India?

Blisie is priced for that case: ₹699 to ₹1,999 per store per month, in rupees, with no add-ons required to get the daily working set. Run your own numbers against a base plan plus the add-ons you would actually need, and include the exchange rate.
